2014 was a busy year for me, having produced four albums, including “There’s a Place I Go For Christmas.”

Erasure had released their first Christmas album, “Snow Globe” just a year previous in November 2013. I loved what they did with familiar tunes, making many dark and glitchy. With a holiday tune written by my own family member over 40 years prior (There’s a Place I Go For Christmas), I took a shot at creating my own Christmas album with one original tune this time around (A Few Words My Friend). Vocals are by Arvin Lee — featured on three tracks here — and a reimagining of Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring by Bach, rounds out the album.
