The eight track “To Serve Man” (originally named “Just Like Humans”, a self-titled release) was available in December of 2013. I actually scheduled it for my birthday, just for fun, and this is the first (and only) album I had a review published by a third party — a positive one, at that.

These tracks had more cohesion to them than my previous album, Your Computer. For the most part, I centered the themes and track ideas around Isaac Asimov’s Three Laws of Robotics. I also snuck in a Twilight Zone title in here because it’s a great episode and then later became the renamed album title.

Another first for me here was using Apple's Logic Pro X. I tried my hand at this music production thing first with GarageBand in 2012 and moved to the pro platform for this, my second album.

Fun Fact: There’s Somebody Here is based on some dialogue snippets from the 1982 Tobe Hooper film, Poltergeist. All of the English and German vocals were done by me (not pulled from the film) and then revoiced by the computer.
